Steps are prefabricated reinforced elements up to 4m wide used to overcome cutting slopes. They come in a number of different colours and treatments.
Step cladding made from polished concrete slabs is used for cladding bare concrete steps - both indoor and outdoor, in commercial, public and residential buildings, urban villas and family homes.
The cladding comes in two varieties - separate tread and riser or L-element (tread and riser in one piece). The slabs are polished to 4.5cm thickness and are "tailored" as necessary, i.e. the height of the step, width of the tread surface and length of the step are adapted according to the project.
Through the use of different elements, choosing different aggregates with the addition of different colours, as well as possible sand blasting of visible surfaces, there are numerous design possibilities.
Because of a large number of colours and structures, this element is often used for window sills, but is can also be used for other purposes as well, if required by the project.
