An obstacle is a communication and orientation impediment which can impede and/or prevent unobstructed access, movement, walking, stay or work of a person with decreased mobility.
Tactile pavers are intended for marking of walking lines for blind and visually impaired persons.
Tactile guide strips refer to a tactile treatment of walking surfaces intended to direct the movement of blind and visually impaired persons, whereby the end of the guide strip and change in direction is marked with a change in the structure of the tactile treatment.
Tactile warning strip refers to a tactile treatment of a walking surface which is laid with a view to warning blind and visually impaired persons about vehicles and is usually in the shape of a truncated dome tile.
Because of the need to cancel architectural barriers, we have included this type of pavers in our assortment and in doing so made a step towards alignment with European standards.
